Armando Pich Project
Type of Project: Loan
Request: Loan to purchase land and build missionary housing
Location(s): San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala
Recipient: Armando Pich
Armando Pich, a mason by trade, requested a long-term loan from Trade Palms in order to purchase land on which to build his own house. In addition to building a house, Armando, had a bigger vision and plan for serving the Lord. His request to Trade Palms was to enter into a long-term relationship for the completion of a two phase project.
The first phase was to purchase a portion of land that is located adjacent to the land his family currently owns. In Guatemala, families typically live together on a section of land. The second phase will be to build rooms where people from his church and international travelers can stay. His goal is to open a small place of lodging for others so he can share his Christian life with those who come to stay. Armando writes, “Building relationships between travelers and myself, I can share my Christian life and help those that come as missionaries or who come to serve the underprivileged people. This small place will serve as a place of rest and a place to share the Word of God with others.”
Trade Palms is currently partnering with Armando in phase one of his project.
